I’ve decided to start Saturday Links as a way to share links I’ve found on the web and to create a space for me to share personal meanderings. There are no rules for these posts other than to share interesting stuff I’ve found with you. I know how much I value what others have found that works for them in the realm of creativity, health, music, beauty, fitness, fashion, etc. That’s what I hope to do for you all here with these links.
With that, here are some things I’ve enjoyed this past week. Cheers and happy Saturday!
– I’m a little slow on the Brene Brown band wagon, but I finally started reading one of her books and I LOVE it. It’s called The Gifts of Imperfection and I feel like Brene is my soul sister when I read this book. She cuts right to the barriers that keep us from living wholeheartedly and offers up ten guideposts to help cultivate courage, compassion, and connection – the three pillars of wholehearted living.
– Here is one of my favorite YouTube playlists.
– Can’t wait to read this poetry collection.
– Stocked my wardrobe with these boots (I got them on sale) and I can’t wait to wear them for Fall. Yay!
– Overalls are coming back in style and I love it!
– This is my kind of chocolate pie.
– I love the idea of Wabi Sabi living and love the inspiration from this book. Wabi Sabi means embracing the perfectly imperfect. It seems more and more we’ve gotten away from the beauty of something that is worn and weathered and natural. Instead, we opt for bright and shiny things that are overly adorned. Appreciating and finding beauty in simplicity and function is the essence of Wabi Sabi.
– I want every piece of art from this incredibly talented artist.
– Definitely need to make this chickpea stew SOON.
