As some of you may know if you follow me on Instagram, I attended a food photography workshop this past weekend hosted by two amazing and talented photographers, Eva Kosmas Flores and Carey Nershi. They are as lovely as they appear on the web and I am so grateful to have met them. The workshop was located deep in the Appalachian mountains and in the most adorable cabin ever. Because photography is not something I’ve ever learned professionally, my intention for attending this workshop was to learn from and connect with other like-minded bloggers and creatives out there.
What I came away with was beyond my expectations! Being surrounded by such beauty, inspiration, and knowledge was so good for my soul. It helped me gain a fresh perspective in my work, grasp the important aspects of food photography, and meet super sweet and inspiring friends who seem to leak creativity from their pores! I loved every minute of my time there and can’t wait to see how this experience shapes my food photography journey.
So without further ado, I have curated my favorite pictures from the trip. Enjoy and feel free to share:
